San Diego State picked up a trio of commitments on Saturday from the 2015 class, all three coming from the Inland Empire and Ground Zero 7v7.

"All three Ground Zero kids committed to San Diego State," said Armond Hawkins of Ground Zero. "Mike Bell, Hasani Smith and Jerry Chaney."

Bell, a three-star, has shined all spring on the 7v7 circuit, and the Aztecs were picked over offers from Montana and Fresno State.

Smith, a three-star tight end, has also excelled on the 7v7 and camp circuit this spring. The Aztecs were his first offer.

Chaney burst on to the scene this spring, and San Diego State offered him last week, his first offer.

San Diego State also got a commitment from 2016 four-star Davir Hamilton, a receiver from Los Angeles (Calif.) Verbum Dei. Recommended Stories
