| Woods is the type of athlete that makes everything look easy. He doesn't look like he's running that hard, but he's gliding by everyone. He adjusts well to the ball in the air and makes hard catches look easy. He has soft, but strong hands that can catch a pass over the shoulder, or snag a pass out of mid-air that's thrown on a rope. | Robert Woods finished his junior season with 81 receptions for 1,378 yards and 26 total touchdowns. Although he’s also a track big-timer, Woods says he’ll stick with football. He runs the 200m (21.3) and the 400m (47.15). He says he can bench 250-pounds and has a 34-inch vertical jump.
Sophomore Year: 43 receptions for 801 yards and seven touchdowns, rushed for 273 yards on 21 carries (13 ypc) and two touchdowns and had 81 tackles, eight interceptions, a sack and a fumble recovery. Returned three punts and interceptions for touchdowns.
Woods reports a 3.6 core GPA and a 1350 SAT.
Woods: “I have great quickness and speed. I’m very elusive and have great hands. I play fast. I’m always moving.
“I want to get stronger. I think it would definitely make everything easier if I was stronger. I could be a lot more physical.”
