| Heads into fall camp as the starter at right tackle ... was projected as a tackle, but injuries at the guard position moved him into a guard role during 2000 spring drills ... expected to see heavy play this season. 2000: Played sparingly on offense as the backup to Chad Ward at right guard, but was a key component of Husky special teams ... served as the long snapper on field goals and punts for the second s traight season ... earned coaches’ special-teams MVP honors for flawless snapping performance in a downpour at Stanford, a game the Huskies won 31-28 ... also ran in the wedge on Husky kick returns, helping returner Derrick Johnson finish in the top-25 nationally with 24.2 yards per return. 1999: Was a backup behind Elliot Silvers at left tackle ... appeared in nine games and the Holiday Bowl against Kansas State. 1998: Redshirted the season. |
