Besides being the first win of the season, Saturday's win over Minnesota was important because it shed light on how good a quarterback Nate Longshore can be, that Lavelle Hawkins is capable of giving the Bears another big offensive weapon, and that it was way too soon to count out Syd'Quan Thompson.
