It would normally be scary if a team didn't convert a third-down opportunity until late in the first half. By the time Cal managed an 8-yard gain on a third-and-five, it certainly helped that the gain resulted in a touchdown - which ended up putting the score in Cal's favor 38-17. That's just one indication of how dominating the Golden Bear offense was in its 51-23 win against Arizona State on Saturday.
