King Makes it a Trifecta

Gabe King

It took a bit longer than anticipated, but Gabe King signed his National Letter of Intent on Wednesday morning…

With Gabe King's flight from Washington, D.C delayed, the press conference for five-star safety Keenan Allen and Chris McCain went on as planned without King present.

Originally, all three were supposed to announce their intention to play college football at California at the same time.

Allen and McCain signed and faxed their National Letter of Intent at 8:15 a.m. PT. King's came shortly after at 8:45.

Joining the trio, is Allen's half brother quarterback Zach Maynard. He left Buffalo after head coach Turner Gill took the job at Kansas. He becomes the sixth quarterback on the Bears roster.
