Spring Game Shows Signs of Bears' Future

California's first team defense as a whole believes that they should make plays on a consistent basis. On the other side of the ball, quarterback Brock Mansion, wide receiver Alex Lagemann and tight end Spencer Ladner showed on Saturday that they have the capabilities of contributing in the fall.

The Bear defense has a number of talented players, but a lot of times, talented players don't play up to their potential. It is one thing to show flashes of good plays and another thing to believe that there should be a certain level of production achieved on each play.
