Phoenix-based broadcaster Jon Bloom who has done spot duty on Cal radio broadcasts spoke with the man he calls "the future mayor of SacTown," Kevin Johnson.
According to Bloom, Johnson said that he's extremely excited about the hire of Monty and that he's especially happy that Cal hoops will once again have a balance of strong performance on the court & the classroom. "He's already speaking like a politician," said Bloom.
Separately, Craig Grialou with KTAR 620am in Phoenix had a conversation with Suns forward Sean "Kiwi" Marks. An audio file is attached.
