While that was going on, Coach Tedford met simultaneously with reporters on the sidelines - at sporadic moments in between his attendance at various tests on the field - and while also coping with the demands of meeting and greeting people in the football "industry".
Zack Follett spoke to us today about team leadership. Following the Stanford loss last year, while standing outside the visitors locker room in the night air and under poor lighting, Follett vowed that he was "not going to let this to happen again," citing in particular the role that team leadership played in contributing to the losses during the second half of the season.
Today he spoke candidly to that issue, saying (as you will see/hear in the attached video) "all the cancers are gone", referring to certain graduating seniors.
How much ever readers here might like to know the details behind that comment, I chose to not ask Follett to name names. Judge for yourself.
