Video: Tedford's Comments on the 2008 Class

At a press conference Wednesday in the Hall of Fame room at California's Memorial Stadium, Head Football Coach Jeff Tedford presented the 2008 class of football recruits. Video files linked here document Tedford's comments.

After his initial comments, a DVD was shown that highlighted the talents of the incoming class. Following that, Tedford sat and talked informally with members of the press corps - and responded to a mix of questions about the incoming class.

In one amusing moment, a reporter asked who might be the "best quote" in the new class - asking which of the recruits might be the most interesting interview in coming months and years.

When Tedford identified two who were the most quiet, from whom he said it was difficult to extract even a word or two - another reporter jokingly expressed a request to Tedford that those two not play football this next year.

Such is the level of dialogue in these intensively intellectual sessions.
