Bear Insider Video: Cyrus Gray

With four committed Cal prospects shining in Miami in last weekend’s Offense-Defense All-American Bowl, another Cal recruiting target took the stage as well.

De Soto (Dallas, TX) High School running back Cyrus Gray impressed while sharing carries with North Carolina-bound running back Jamal Womble during last week’s practices and game.

The two formed a dynamic tandem, with Womble being the bigger of the two, always willing to bang away inside and take on tacklers head-on.

Gray provided a nice change of pace with his ability to run between the tackles or quickly bounce outside if he saw an opening.

Gray has two more visits remaining with his trip to Florida this weekend as well as Berkeley on the 18th.

The Bear Insider had a chance to sit down with Gray in Miami and discuss his experience at the All-American classic as well as his current recruitment.
