Tyler Porras Is In A Hurry

The Bear Insider had a chance to visit with Tyler Porras during the Berkeley Scout Combine on May 15th and to see what skills Porras brings to the gridiron. The 6-2/165 RB/FS from Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, Arizona impressed Scout personnel with one of the fastest and most fluid 40s of the day with a hand-timed 4.51 along with a solid vertical leap of 36 inches.

In his junior season, Porras played both running back and free safety, helping his team to an 11-2 record.  He ran for a solid 1,300 yards, while averaging 6.3 yards per carry.
