At long last, Saturday is almost here - but there's still one more day to get through - and you've clicked every link you can about the upcoming Cal-USC game.

Understanding that today will drag on forever, The Bear Insider has provided a few ideas on how to spend your Friday:

Listen to band music - a sprinkling of USC here and here and a dose of Cal's here, here, and here; and then support the band.

If it's before 12:45 p.m., PST - bid on a replica of Memorial Stadium.

Re-read this article written by Coach Jeff Tedford about the 2002 turnaround; and in the spirit of equal time, read this article by Pete Carroll about USC football.

Buy a #8 jersey.

Look at this map and be glad you're not in the middle of it.

Since there's no bowl game to plan for, scout out airfares and hotel rates in Tucson, Seattle, Jackson, and New Orleans.

Become a BCS nerd.

If you sat up in press row tomorrow, at your seat you'd find a set of Cal, USC, and Pac-10 game notes.

Read every newspaper you can - San Francisco Chronicle, Oakland Tribune, Contra Costa Times (free reg. req.), USA Today, Los Angeles Times (free reg. req), Los Angeles Daily News and Long Beach Press Telegram.

Gag mightily.

Enjoy a good fark.

Relive the Free Speech Movement.

Print out a Bear Backer application.

And finally, if you're superstitious, don't click here or here.
