Bankhead Commits to Cal

Cal scores its third commitment of the 2015 cycle, bringing in a former teammate of Tre Watson.

Three-star wide receiver Greyson Bankhead chose California on Friday, committing to the Golden Bears over offers from SMU and Arizona.

The 5-foot-9, 155-pounder out of Corona (Calif.) Centennial is a former teammate of 2014 Cal running back signee Tre Watson, and last season did a little bit of everything for the 12-3 Huskies.

Bankhead completed both of his passing attempts at quarterback for a total of 32 yards, rushed three times for a total of 28 yards, caught a staggering 73 passes for 1,031 yards and averaged 71.2 all-purpose yards per game this past season.

Bankhead started the season with a string of games where he caught no fewer than six passes for no less than 72 yards, averaging seven grabs and 81.5 yards. Recommended Stories
