CSDTV: Jefferson Has Banner Day

Jalen Jefferson and the rest of the California linebacking corps was put through the ringer on Saturday at the spring game, but the redshirt sophomore, along with Hardy Nickerson, Jr., and David Wilkerson each tallied six tackles to tie for the team lead.

Jeferson, along with Hardy Nickerson, Jr., David Wilkerson and safeties Avery Sebastian and Jordan Morgan paced the California defense with six tackles apiece on Saturday during the Golden Bears' spring game.

Other top defensive performers were linebacker Nathan Broussard (5 tackles, 1 TFL for -9 yards), Isaac Lapite (4 tackles, 1 fumble recovery), Dan Camporeale (2 tackles, 0.5 TFL for -4, 0.5 sack for -4, one pass break-up, one quarterback hurry) and Ted Agu (3 tackles, 1 TFL for -3 yards).
