West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade running back Terrell Newby is headed to the Big Ten.
The four-star back committed to Nebraska on Wednesday at a press conference at his school, choosing the Huskers over hometown UCLA.
Newby had a meteoric rise as a senior, going from outside the Scout 300 to finish as a top 15 back nationally.

Nebraska was one of his earliest offers, and the Huskers had long been the favorite to land him.
While UCLA made an offer midway through the season and a big push to get into his final two, Newby's feeling for the Huskers never faded.
"I feel like I had the strongest connection with the Nebraska staff," Newby said.
Newby officially visited Lincoln in September for a game in which the Huskers routed Idaho State 73-7.
He becomes the second California native to join the Huskers class, joining fellow Southern California prospect Johnny Stanton, a four-star quarterback from Santa Margarita.
