Beavs finish season ranked in Top 20
Safe to say, virtually no one was predicting the 9-4 season Oregon State turned out in 2012.
Also absent was the prediction that the Beavs would be the Pac-12's No. 3 team, in line for an Alamo Bowl selection.
And yet that's what transpired.
Oregon State began the season without a single poll vote in either then AP or Coaches' poll but on the strength of a 6-0 start, finished in the Top 20 in each metric.
With a large nucleus of the team coming back in 2013, expectations will be higher this coming season.
