After a horrific car crash in early November, California offensive line commit J.D. Hinnant says one thing was always a constant in his recovery: His future family in Berkeley.

J.D. Hinnant left his girlfriend's house on the afternoon of Nov. 2, on his way to a team dinner the night before a Friday game. The rest of that day, says the California offensive line commit, is a complete blur. "I was the driver, and I was trying to make a left in a neighborhood and I got T-boned on my side.
